RE:LNG Canada

RE:LNG CanadaWestern Canada Annual Natural Gas Production: 14.4 bcf/d in 2014. 18.2 bcf/d in 2024 (estimated). Annual production increase from 2014 to 2024 = (18.2 - 14.4)/10 = 0.38 bcf/d production growth. It will be hard to fill the gap of 2.5 bcf/d from the extra natural gas demand of LNG Canada and oil sand production increase in the next 3 years. Two more LNG facilities (Cedar LNG and Woodfiber LNG) in BC coming online 2027 and 2028 demanding extra natural gas of 0.7 bcf/d. Then we have Alberta Government wants to attract $100 billions of investment for data centres in Northern Alberta that could consume huge amounts of natural gas in the next 5 years.
