exchange rate effects

exchange rate effects
Looking at the exchange at this quarter versus this upcoming quarter.  For the sake of this quick and dirty analysis, the dates I used are as follows:

last quarter - June 18 to sep 17

this quarter - june 19 to dec 17

.  last quarter

average = $1.3662
min = $1.3463
max = $1.3872

.  this quarter

average = $1.3883
min = $1.3455
max = $1.4323

So, the average is 1.62 % higher and the max is 3.25 % higher.  With our current political crisis, we are currently sitting at the max percentage increase and it is difficult to see that will improve anytime soon.   Also, we have a hostile president coming against Canada so who knows how that is going to turn out.  An easy prediction that it will get worse before it gets better.
