RE:USA Graphite Group seeks 920% Tariff on Chinese GraphiteFrenchie18473,

Wow! I guess that
industry group hopes to trigger punitive tariffs of as much as 920% on Chinese graphite in response; and should that be anywhere near the percentage of import tariff imposed, I'd expect that could effectively kill any chance that any U.S. situated automobile manufacturer would ever be wanting to manufacture any sort of battery-electric powered vehicles, i.e. until the U.S. has developed sufficient numbers of it's own natural flake graphite mines, probably how many years from now?

The Canadian Government should grow a pair and immediately signal and project directly to Donald J. Trump the Canadian Government's willingness to increase export tariffs on natural flake graphite mined in Canada and specifically exported to the U.S. by 920%; and yet, before the Canadian Government does as suggested, the various larger Canadian pension plans investments entities should, now that they are legally able to own more than 30% of any Canadian equities issuer, go about locking up the majority equity ownership of the companies holding all the most advanced graphite lands development projects and would be graphite mines; and most especially, locking up the majority equity control of the only North American, Quebec , Canada miner of natural flake graphite, Northern Graphite Corporation.
After all, I hear that there is a NGC.V
fire sale being held by Hugues Jacquemin et al, yes?
