Northern Graphite Corporation is a Canada-based flake graphite producing company. The Company is focused on producing natural graphite and upgrading it into high-value products critical to the green economy, including anode material for lithium-ion batteries/electric vehicles (EVs), fuel cells and graphene, as well as advanced industrial technologies. The LDI mine is located approximately two kilometers south of Lac-des-Iles, Quebec, 110 kilometers (km) northeast of Ottawa and 180 km northwest of Montreal. The Okanjande mining is located in Namibia, one of Africa's finest mining jurisdictions. It holds a 100% interest in the Bissett Creek Project, which is located around 15 km from the Trans-Canada Highway between the towns of Deep River and Mattawa, Ontario.

Student, good post.  I only disagree that BILLIONS have been spent on EV manufacturing along with BILLIONS on battery manufacturing.  

That type of investment is for the next few decades and not simply for one term of Trump.  Considering that the Anode is only 10% of the battery cost, this is not the make or break for the industry.  

The industry is facing an existential threat from Chinese car manufacturing.   This is not going to stop the US Government or OEMs from continuing down the path.  It will cause industry, this specific nieche of the industry, to reconstitute itself in the USA and friendly countries like Canada. Bring mining and manufacturing home.

This is much much much larger than one mining company in Canada.  Much larger.
