In addition to your highlight, this is the part that is of interest:

The transaction follows Honeywell's recent disclosure in its Q3 2024 earnings of its intention to sell the PPE business. It also aligns with Honeywell's commitment to optimize its portfolio by taking action to divest from non-core lines of business while pursuing high-return acquisitions that will drive future growth in alignment with its three powerful megatrends.

Given the history between Honeywell and BLN's management (and the purchase/sale of BW technology), it would not be surprising, though BLN is just about to become profitable and spread its wings after years of developments and capital injections, it would take a major offer for them to let it go I suppose.  Then again, I've always felt it was the goal of BLN's management to repeat what they had done with BW, but with a new improved model.  BLN has also recruited deeply within the previous pool of employees at Honeywell over the years.  The ties between the two are still very much alive.
