Actually I think Danielle and a good portion of Albertans will agree with it. It's all in the marketing. All Danielle (or Neshi) wants/needs is a bigger slice of the pie. If neither private shareholders or governments are seeing reasonable piece of the pie, they may as well nationalize... or perhaps better yet provincialize and stop all profit from the sector flowing to Ottawa.  Instead keep it all and use it to turn Alberta into the Dubai of the North. Give the CEOs and management team an option to either work for significanlty less as a public servent, or find work elsewhere.

"Nationalize the oil sector", Anschutz??? Geez I guess you can forget about Xmas dinner at Danielle Smith house this year, eh? ;)
"Not for profit healthcare"? To 50% of Americans that equates to communism and "death panels" !!!!

Somebody else said: "Many companies got destroyed by woke tree huggers" (???). Well, as an lumber investor in "lumber country" let me tell you we don't have tree huggers anymore....don't need them. The reality is the trees are all gone!!! Mills closing down just about everywhere for lack of fibre....it'll take another 40-50 years before the planted trees are big enough to harvest!!! The logging companies won! Yeah!
Wood products/lumber is a RENEWABLE RESOURCE...it works if greed (there's that word again) is kept in check enough to let some trees grow to maturity for the next guy. That didn't happen unfortunately.
