Monetizing the asset now without selling a share (family added more) and then ramp back up to 100000 bpd in 3-4 years. Sold a maturing asset with problematic third party owned infrastructure plus getting rid of asset retirement obligations of at least $1b (npv of $500m).  Still have $1b cash plus 500m in nva.  Plenty of cash to  spend on its inventory. The monthly dividend of .05 post transaction is also big for me. Will have doubled my share count so my total monthly dividend after getting $15 is only off by 5 cents. Can live with that. Another chapter to be written here. Game not over.
