Case in point.  Look at the header of this thread.  "Debt reduction is of no value"

Really?  None ...zero?  Just about the dumbest declarative statement I have seen posted.

Debt reduction pays.  Literally!

Being properly leveraged is good for the company but you don't just move relatively low interest senior note debt that is due into a high interest credit facility.  It sends the message to investors that you can't pay your bills or manage your debts properly.  If they had a lower interest vehicle to move it into that might be different but rate cuts haven't allowed for that yet.  They have more than enough cash to pay it and will be a much stabler company and investment for it.  After that their debt does not come due again for another 5 years so clear sailing.  

Not only that but they have enough cash to pay the debt and fund cap ex, pay the dividend and basically keep doing the things that brought him here in the first place.  Or did they?
