Early Stock Weakness

Early Stock WeaknessThis morning is looking like November 28th.  Those in Colombia knew about the 20-day public review and sold the stock down.  Aris didn't put out their press release on the subject until late in the day.  Yesterday was Day 20 of the public review.  My guess is they decided to put in place a 2-year pause on environmental licenses.  The same actors that sold the stock down Nov 28th are doing the same this morning.

The funny thing is Soto Notre is a good 3 - 4 years out and was only expected to add 100k ounces per year at that time.  Yet, the stock is being sold down as if it is vital to their valuation today.  I'm here for the Segovia expansion and the long life Marmato mine going into production, which are very near term events.  The timing of Soto Notre comes on the back of 5 consecutive days of Gold selling.  Hence, we could see the entire 2024 YTD gain be gone this week.
