In fact, the data would suggest otherwise-reflected in the stock price, liquidity, and message board data.
For example, you may notice that some of the posts by realists(bashers), who are driven by data. They often get hundreds of reads.
...yet the promoters, often get 30 or 40 reads.
Now, what is interesting is that the promoters will often get 10 or 11 likes, for these few reads which far exceeds that of the realists.
So, my conclusion is that the promoters are self voting for themselves, trying to add legitimacy to their posts, as they are often the most highly voted on these boards.
I would suggest Stockhouse, develop an algorithm to avoid self voting. It would take away this one pseudo shred of credibility which doesn't exist to anyone who's a thoughtful reader.
The final point is that, the data has been such that the realists who have been talking about the downside of the stock have been right. The stock continues to plunge lower, whereas the promoters, despite all of their hyperbole, and self righteous, paternalistic, bluster are losing money, as is anyone that believed thier misguided message,
'Facts matter folks.
OF course if we are to believe the pumpers, they are all in the money because they all, if you believe them, have bought at the absolute low share price, and sold at the peak. Funny how a cursory review of posts at the time of the peak-some of them were loading up as they predicted a share price "to the moon" of 100+..
There is always an excuse, a carrot left dangling of futiure promises like contracts and profits to come...
Yet the losses for most honest folks build up...
