It was also options expiry day...
But here is another thing that crossed my mind.
During the conference call the next day after Q3 release, the CEO talked a lot about completion techniques and poor results in the attempt to reduce cost. Lots of questions and answers, but then I remember him saying that they are flexible and were able to quickly switch to proven methods.

An analyst then asked when new results will be available. The CEO didn't have any specific dates but said that they are targeting a few new wells ready in December and two 5 or 6 well pads in Q1. 

It's pure speculation, but it could be that some people know something that we don't.
