Uranium Spot price ❓

Uranium Spot price ❓

#Nuclear fuel consultants report that there are some sellers in need of cash to balance their year-end books that are "desperately" trying to sell some #U3O8 in today's ghost town Spot #Uranium market. Eager buyers smell blood so have been aggressively dropping their bids to see just how low these desperate sellers are willing to go which is leading to a big year-end Spot price dip that is completely divorced from the Uranium market's overall supply/demand fundamentals. What's the prognosis from here?

Hedge funds, major investment firms, family offices and deep-pocketed investors have been buying up large volumes of U mining stocks during the past 2 weeks of store-wide clearance sales in the stock markets and $URNJ rebalance, focused on the incredible underlying supply/demand fundamentals, surging interest in Nuclear energy and AI, and a very strong $81.50 long-term U price that is driving increased earnings & valuations on the horizon.

Those investors now want to see some big moves higher in the Spot price now that their portfolios are loaded up with bargain-priced U mining stocks.

I think that soon we will see hedge funds buying lbs in the Spot market, and big money buying up shares of Sprott Physical Uranium Trust to get its ATM firing out cash so SPUT can get back to stacking Spot lbs to drive the Spot price back towards the long-term price.

We should also see carry-traders step in to snatch up cheap lbs that they can sell into their mid-term contracts priced around the long-term price for a tidy profit. We've seen this kind of strategy play out in the past so I expect we should see it happen again as we head into the new year... bringing the next leg up for the U sector.

Just saying... The fundamental set-up for the Uranium sector is the best it has ever been!
