RE:RE:RE:New Patent for NOVACIUM/HPQ SiliconThe patent application was filed in march 2024,published in Sept 2024.
So, it's not new.
It was filed after being worked on and certified in house.
It was filed because it was needed and agreed upon.
From the patent application description :
In particular, a purpose of the present invention is to provide a 3N + quality silicon manufacturing method which either: low cost, and whose environmental impact is limited. Such a method comprises a phase of forming a silicon block by directional solidification from which it is possible to obtain a powder of micrometric particles of silicon including a high density of grain boundaries. This powder is in particular usable in the manufacture of anodes of lithium-ion batteries." The devil is often in the details.
It doesn't negate what the QRR does better and cheaper than conventional methods, produce Si metal.
HPQ 's shareholders owns 20 % of Novacium according to past NRs.

Yeah exactly im not sure if i want it granted either. IMHO any changes to anything patented with regards to PYRs tech should be owned by the HPQ shareholders. Not sure i like this possible new arrangement of another company (we dont directly own) being able to do this...Anyone here holding Novacium shares??? Yeah i didnt think so. Is Novacium a separte company to HPQ or a subsidiary? They develop this what do we get? Fishy...
