Seppelt....the TEZ existed since the 80s...a bilateral agreement with the US....your "tanker ban" just made that agreement into a Canadian law. If we had started moving tankers through the TEZ there would have been nothing to stop US tankers from Alaska from using the Inside Passage all the way to Puget Sound.

NG never made much sense from the beginning...Crossing 2 mountain ranges? 700 creek/river crossings??? What is this? the pipeline "X games" we're going for??? A good reality TV show???
TMX cost TRIPLE what it was supposed to...Coastal Gaslink pipeline ended up costing DOUBLE what it was supposed to....You see a trend there? Pipeline proponents are exactly that...they're pushing for a pipeline...costing too much/being uneconomic is not something you're gonna hear from them!
