No argument with what you're saying and your affirmation of it being a good opportunity today is exactly correct, although, your particular loss is just a paper loss until it isn't so we can discount that assertion up until a sale is made to turn that paper loss into a real loss.
Being stuck because you don't want to take the loss in order to take up other opportunities simply suggests that those other opportunities aren't strong enough in your conviction to move on from your position in Baytex.
In other words, you must feel you have a better chance for Baytex to get back to $4.76 to at least recover your money than you could make back and maybe more in those other opportunities you speak of .......... so really, they aren't better opportunities at all, lol.
