GRUV.c Expands Land Holdings to Advance Hydrogen Exploration Protium Clean Energy Corp. (Ticker: GRUV.c), a junior exploration and development company focused on clean energy, shared two acquisition announcements this month, significantly expanding its hydrogen exploration land position in Ontario, Canada.
These additions underscore Protium’s strategy to develop hydrogen and critical mineral resources using satellite technology and AI-driven targeting systems.
Leveraging this technology to identify new exploration targets, Protium acquired 24 additional single-cell mining claims, contiguous with its existing 103-claim group in Firstbrook Township.
This expansion increases the company’s holdings in the area to over 2,600 hectares. Notably, Firstbrook Township is known for occurrences of copper, lead, cobalt, silver, and kimberlite, highlighting its mineral potential alongside hydrogen prospects.
Building on this momentum, Protium also staked 31 additional claims covering approximately 620 hectares in the Sudbury Mining Division.
The area features intersecting fault structures and hosts a 5 km long, 800 m wide “Predictive Fingerprint Target” identified for hydrogen exploration using AI-based models.
Satellite mapping in the new claims detected hydrogen anomalies, radon, and helium gases, particularly during seasonal ice breakup.
Historical geochemical programs also indicated the presence of kimberlite indicator minerals and elements, suggesting additional exploration opportunities for metals such as iron, copper, nickel, and titanium.
These acquisitions are pivotal in advancing Protium’s goal of becoming Canada’s largest landholder of hydrogen-prospective targets.
Protium Clean Energy Corp. continues to focus on its 100%-owned Nakina Lithium and Firstbrook Hydrogen properties while utilizing satellite-based surveys to identify further opportunities.
These recent expansions reinforce Protium’s commitment to sustainable resource development and its strategic focus on hydrogen and critical minerals essential for clean energy solutions.
