RE:RE:RE:RE:Here is WHAT is Horribly WRONG with Capital Gain TAXATION
Sweden has a flat tax rate of 30% for capital gains. The Swedish tax authorities defines capital gains as incomes that can not be attributed to business operations or service. For example; rental of private assets, dividends, profit from the sale of assets and interest payments.

Is this better than our systen?  I think not.

In the UK

Capital Gains Tax rates in the UK for 2024/25 10% (18% for residential property) for your entire capital gain if your overall annual income is below £50,270. 20% (24% for residential property) for your entire capital gain if your overall annual income is above the £50,270 threshold.

Is this better than our systen?  It depends on your income level

And I could keep on going on, country by country.

Our system is not perfect, no system is. Overall, we get what we pay for

Decades ago my wife and I had three children.  A visit to the hospital, a short stay for a few days for the mother and the baby and we got home without having to spend a penny (other than the optional TV rental).  How much would an American couple pay for the same three baby deliveries?  I do not want to think about it.
