Darren Entwistle, President and CEO of Telus Corp. came in ninth place with a whopping $19.1 million in salary, awards, and non-equity incentive plan compensation.Entwistle joined Telus in dual executive roles in 2000 and is the longest-serving CEO in the global telecommunications industry, according to his biography on the Telus website.

He is also the highest-paid telecom CEO in the country, ranking above Mirko Bibic of BCE Inc. who made $11.1 million and Tony Staffieri Rogers Communications Inc. who made $10.5 million
