my mistake

my mistakeI previously posted that China had put export limits on gallium, antimony and germanium as well as "superhard materials". I thought the latter term referred to tungsten.  However, "superhard materials" are  actually a thing, only some of which contain tungsten https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Superhard_material#:~:text=Superhard%20materials%20can%20be%20generally,which%20possess%20an%20innate%20hardness.

It remains true that analysts predict that bulk tungsten could be next for Chinese export controls.  Also, USA has tariffs on Tungsten and plans to phase our Chinese tungsten by various means.  This clarified information may explain why FOB APT Chinese prices continue to drop- no export restrictions yet.  With DJT soon in office, we really have no idea what will happen, but should be interesting!.
