You are correct that insider buying is not a GUARANTEE of success. But it is an INDICATOR that mangement  thinks they have a good chance of success. If insider buying was the only indicator of potential success I would be more inclined to agree with you. But when you COMBINE insider buying with the fact that a new management team has a track record of repairing mining companies with good assets but bad balance sheets (like Teranga gold) and my confidence goes up considerablly. But can they fail, sure, or can they succeed--sure. Nothing is 100 per cent when investing in stocks, especially gold miners.
Are there other investing options, of course.Perhaps you are right that our time learning where to invest could be directed else where. But what is your situation You obviously are not a shareholder of I-80 since you see nothing but down side with I80. Yet you pass a lot of time posting on this bullboard. That makes me think you are short I 80 and you are trying to drive down the SP of I 80 any way you can. Fair enough. But as I mentioned earlier, if you are shorting, and I am long, then I should take everything you post with a great deal of skepticism. If you are neither long nor short, nor intend to be long or short this ticker, then why do you post so much on this bullboard I check this board to stay abreast of what it is going on with I 80 because I openly admit to be modestly long I-80. Where do you stand?
By the way, if you start to denigrate me on this bullboard it will not hurt my feelings. I am not 12 years old. I actually find two bullboard posters sending each other nasty posts to be childishly humorous. So slam me if you want, I will NOT commit suicide.
