Decades past, decades to go.
Decades past, decades to go.Alaskans and residents in the lower 48 understand the importance of one of the world’s largest, and last, commercial sockeye salmon runs near the proposed Pebble Mine site. Plenty of opposition, but still talking. May be be underground now rather than open pit. A lot of automation and electricity required.
Maybe using renewable electricity, not chemicals as a method of gold/copper extraction from ore.
One source has a 180 year mine operation period and over a trillion dollar benefit. Then add in all the other proposed mines in Alaska.
