RE:RE:RE:RE:could/should we sell McCoy property?Hello goldstd
My understanding is that Sumimoto, or is it sumitomo, generally likes to be a minority partner when it gets into mining ventures. But I am by no means on expert on sumitomo. Mr Young, headed up Argonaut gold for a very short time and ended up selling argonaut's only really good asset (the greenstone mine) to Aalamos Gold. Luckily I had plugged my nose jumped deep into the dumpster and bought some argo at 22 cents. shortly after my purchase Mr Young announced the sale of the Greenstone mine to Aalamos and the stock went to 40 cents and I got out.
The nugget of knowledgee about this anecdote is that Mr. Young is willing to make deals. With teranga he built it up over a number of years and sold out, I think to endeavour, and made a lot of money for most share holders. His tenure at argonaut was short and the only shareholders who did well were the few who bought when the share price of completely in the toilet. To me, I 80 seems more like a teranga gold situation, and the fact My Young was able to attract some of his old teranga team to help turn around I -80 ,makes me think he will take a some time to build up our company.
