RE:RE:The actual offer is a printed "Summary" over 40 pagesI don't think that, I read that. Go to the last long paragragh on page 32 of the summary. It starts out "A Non resident shareholder who disposes of shares pursuit to the offer will be deemed to receive a dividend equal to that amount"

 It ends with "Any such deemed dividend will be subject to  Canadian Withholding tax at a rate of 25% or such lower rate as may be provided under the terms of an applicable Canandian treaty"

There are 6 pages total of tax complexities. I know I was shortcharged on the last dividend received and I can only assume because money was withheld.
