Alternate Symbol(s):  INTWF

SHARC International Systems Inc. is engaged in energy recovery from the wastewater the Company send down the drain every day. Its energy's systems recycle thermal energy from wastewater, generating energy and economical systems for heating, cooling & hot water production for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings. Its products include SHARC Series and PIRANHA Series. The SHARC Series taps the potential of wastewater energy to reduce energy and water consumption, carbon emissions and energy costs at large, industrial scales. The SHARC utilizes the power of wastewater for both heating and cooling for the large capacity requirements of multi-family residential, commercial and energy districts. The PIRANHA Wastewater Heat Recovery & Cooling System is a specialized water-to-water heat pump that recovers energy directly from wastewater and uses this source energy to produce hot water. PIRANHA Series is typically used for potable domestic hot water (DHW) purposes.

RE:another good article

All sounds good until you get to the performance snippets.  Large district projects are really not big $ items as per the financials.  That makes you appreciate how much effort is required to make a sale that is far from enough to get to profitable operations.

From one strong lead per week to several per day?  So they use to get roughy 50 "strong" leads per year and they have a sales backlog of less than $3 million and annual revenues of less than $3 million?  And now hundreds of strong leads?  Given the performance, I would personally describe the strength of the leads differently, but it all gets us to the same place - news about signed contracts.  That frequency or infrequency of news has not changed much over the years.  Hopefully starts changing this year (after not changing much in 2024) because the story is nice but remains just a nice story if it doesn't.  And I would say that the story does not properly reflect likely existence of many different competing technologies.

I am curious to see where this will be a year from now.  Just as I have been for the past half decade and more. Surely 2, 3 strong leads per day should result in a dozen contract announcements, at least, no?
