Mr Striecker - credit is due regards confirming "the leak".
Mr Striecker thanks for sticking with this and explaining how much of the contamination has escaped.

Might be time to consider bringing some of the orginal designers and engineers in on this?  I would also consider getting some of the original people on board who "loaded" the heap, they might might have a good idea of the "lay down" of the material to prevent more possible "sluffing".

"Streicker said a modest-sized secondary landslide could significantly drive up the already “high” costs.

Another factor he said to watch is the freshet when the snow and ice melts.

Streicker said the receiver will “talk” with the company that built the pond about the leak."
