RE:RE:For anyone still interested
RE:RE:For anyone still interestedYes the investment in the Kami project is good news for all concerned....Champion, Altius (who still own a royalty) and us shareholders who are still entitled to a payment based on production.
I have no idea what that payment is composed of so your guess is as good as mine.
Under the original sale out of bankrupcy to Champion the insolvency lawyers anticipated production commencing in late 24 or early 25 and thereforeanticipated a payment sometime in 25. Once the funds had accumulated to a value of six million a payout would commence.
Of course we wont be seeing any production for at least a couple more years ...so hurry up and wait is the only course of action.
The money that was received from the sale of the surface rights has been kept secret and sealed by the courts so we have no idea how much is there.
They had approximately half a million held over (Ii believe) to pay lawyers fees and such...but I have no idea what is actually charged to the account on a yearly basis to maintain everthing in good standing. We can only hope that there is money left over to fatten our own pockets!!
At risk of repeating myself and sounding like a bitter , disillusioned ex shareholder I can only emphasize that the Kami project , was and is a steller opportunity in the right hands. Ultimately it should have been obvious that Alderon and by extension the king and bay group were not the right hands andChampion would end up with the property. The fact that they did within weeks of the initiation of bankruptcy proceedings should tell you of the merits of the project.
It was for me a real learning experience...
