just in....... thought I would shareMay 22, 2001 Action Summary 2115 Dear ActionPoint Trader, Have you ever picked up someone else's conversation on your cordless phone? I know I have many times. And I also know that someone has picked up my conversations before also. Especially now that there are so many wireless gizmos out there. There's a company that makes sure no one is tapping into your wireless signals. Certicom Corp. develops digital encryption technologies that secure communications between handheld computers, mobile phones, pagers, and other wireless devices. Certicom's customers include Motorola, Palm, and QUALCOMM, which integrate the technology into their own wireless applications. Certicom also offers a range of services, including security analysis, design, and integration. Certicom plans to offer certificate authority, or CA, services and a virtual private network, or VPN, client application later this year. Certicom debuted back on May 2, 2000 and has steadily declined since then. But the stock has recently shown some strength. Buy Certicom Corp. (CERT: NASDAQ) on dips under US$10.75 with a 20% stop loss at US$8.60.
