Tirex Corp TXMC

The Tirex Corporation develops and owns technology that is a semi-cryogenic tire recycling process, known as the Tirex Cryo System (TCS). The technology reduces scrap tires into -5 to 30 mesh (or finer) clean crumb rubber with a morphology and saleable, intact steel wire and fiber. The Company's TCS System is a tire reduction system, which uses a fracturing unit in combination with a freezing process, which does not require liquid nitrogen to produce crumb rubber. Its proprietary process, that doesn't use liquid nitrogen, freezes the rubber and then passes it through its fracturing mill, which breaks the rubber apart, instead of cutting it, exposing the whole strands of steel and fiber, and leaving a value-added crumb rubber that is suited for extrusion molding recycled rubber products and higher end performance surfaces.

Tirex Increases Recycled Rubber Production

Tirex Increases Recycled Rubber Production Tirex Increases Recycled Rubber Production for Animat MONTREAL, Aug. 22 /CNW/ - The Tirex Corporation (OTCBB-TXMC) announced today that Animat Inc. of St.-Elie d'Orford, Quebec ordered Tirex' recycled rubber, Rutex(TM), produced by its patented cryogenic tire recycling technology, the TCS-1. Animat ordered a minimum of 100,000 lbs per month for a 1-year renewable contract to produce 100% recycled rubber mats. "Tirex' increased productivity for Animat", states Tirex President, John L. Threshie Jr., "continues to meet the growing demand for Rutex(TM) and will enhance the sales of the TCS technology. Further, Tirex is proud to have Animat as a new customer in the development of recycled rubber products." Animat, founded in 1983, is considered a pioneer in the transformation of recycled tires for the development of 100% recycled rubber mats for the farm and equestrian industries and reports to be one of the largest manufacturers in the industry. Animat is expanding their sales throughout North America and Europe and in other markets including sports complexes, arenas and fitness rooms. Tirex claims its TCS Systems represent economically viable and environmentally friendly technologies capable of producing exceptionally clean crumb rubber with very high rubber recovery yields and a unique morphology for thermoplastic-rubber extrusion applications. Tirex is marketing and selling TCS Systems to tire recyclers and entrepreneurs interested in the economic and environmental advantages of its technology. Sales negotiations and production planning for customers in Europe, Asia, North and South America are ongoing in collaboration with Tirex' production partner, SIMPRO S.p.A. (www.simpro.it), a high-tech manufacturing company supplying to the automotive industry based in Turin, Italy with operations in Europe and South America. Tirex' first sale of Rutex(TM) was announced on July 12th to Xerus for the production of mud flaps and athletic tiles. Tirex has developed its relationship with the Xerus co-founders over several years through research and development collaboration. Xerus was formed to enter the fast growing industry of plastic and rubber recycling with the formulation of plastic and rubber composites that will impact both the plastic and rubber industries with higher value-added products.
