RE: Europe

RE: EuropeEasyjet are a special case. They are growing their business at 30% per annum, often at the expense of the competition. They only sell direct, no travel agents. Seat prices rise as plane fills from a very low base. No tickets, No seat reservation and no hot meals! In three years they have gone from 0% to 93% flights booked online. That's over the internet, not CRS. They would love to see less efficient airlines go under because they will expand to take up the slack when passenger demand increases. It's thios kind of competition that is putting pressure on the big carriers to sell direct or reduce commissions to travel agents. There are several other airlines with similar models, Ryanair, Buzz (KLM), Go (Formaerly BA) and south west in US. None currently fly transatlantic or transcontinental, but that's just a matter of time. well IMO Idle
