RE: Delays after delaysHello all,
I too have been around 'many' stories over the years, and have seen the CDNX delay even the strongest deals....this one is a great case in point. Given the extreme activity on this one early, I can understand why they are being so incredibly "slow and cautious" on the approval. If this was the only RTO, CPC or IPO on the table that was suffering inordinate delays, I would have a higher level of concern....but that is clearly not the case. There are a great number of delayed pending files before the CDNX; and given the nervous nature of the markets at large (presently), most of the woes being vented here are being shared by many other deals alike. The timing stinks, but in no way dimminishes the deal, the plan or the places this project is going to go.
Myself and my associates are in this one for a Long Time, and have less than NO INTEREST in taking a Small piece of what will likely be a very healthy profit. It is all about risk tolerance and betting a little to make a lot....and for we Long Players, it is about having a little faith in the people that brought us this far. The delays are beyond their control; and if you are upset, imagine for a moment how they are feeling....its is a good thing they have faith enough to buckle down when the going gets tough; and will be our new best friends when they deliver on the business plan they have put together....the curtain has not even gone up for the first act yet!
There are very few things in life that are guaranteed, but there are a few instances when staying Pat with your bet is the right move....I think this is one of those times. I cannot stand leaving money on the table for someone else to swoop in and collect. There is no evidence or indication this deal is suffering any more than a 'delay' that is very far from uncommon. We are sticking on this one, and will be happy to collect all the profits from those who choose to get off this 'ride' Before It Has Even Begun. We paid for our tickets, and think we will stick around at least long enough to see the Opening Credits....only seems prudent.
