RE: Strange happenings......any comments?
Only that this stock is the only $$$ maker I've had this year. I have had no illusions about the upper end of QLT's worth and yet know that it's "bad case" scenario justifies buying anywhere below 31.00 (a reasonable PE for 2 yrs down the road). As a result I have been very fortunate to pick this stock up at a good price several times over the last year and sold it each time for a very reasonable 15 - 20% gain when it has gone up. I have always had confidence in the initial promoters and analysts (they were working w/NB)back in 96. All their predictions have been reliable (if not 100% true) w/r to QLT. My original investment did extremely well, of course, but only because I sell well before the "best case" scenario!
All that said, this will be another buy opportunity Mon and Tues. The product, market and co. has not changed over the last 2 days any more than it has over the last 5 years.
All this talk of shorts, the new "change my mind daily" analysts on the scene, and belief in QLT being able to buy new cures for everything in the world just cloud some pretty good intelligent trading opps.
Sorry to take so much time but you asked for comments. Mine are pretty boring, I guess.
