So let's talk about ISA without a patent. They are still the only company who knows how to make this molecule. They are the only company who have completed Phase 1 trials for this molecule. They are the only company conducting Phase 2 trials for this molecule. They are the only company in the process of being fast-tracked by the regulating bodies. They are literally years ahead of any competitors. If you are a major pharmacutical, it is still in your best effort to strike a deal with Isotechnical, patent or no patent, since you will be first to market by a long shot.
