RE: facts

RE: facts"SCS has been implementing a global link with consolidators and travel agents by designing software and signing agreements with the largest players in the business, the GDS's. IMO, this is becomming a portal with SCS at the helm." Dream on Jetstream. a) They make tiny sums of money out of Newswire / Livelynx product. Larry said you could never build a business on on these products. b) They have still to deliver a transaction based product that could make serious money, two years after they announced balckbird. c) Published Financials are dire, it's an extremely difficult market to raise money in, and on past performance it is difficult to see how anyone would, and if they did they would want a large slice of the cake. d) To say SCS is 'at the helm' when they make a tiny tiny fraction of 1% of the income made of the GDS's is a little optimistic. ANd completely ignores the fact that more and more business, B2C and B2B is moving to the internet. With the increasing availability of low cost broadband connections, GDS's are fighting a reargaurd action to keep peopel paying a premium for their much more expensive private intranet. You keep referring to me as a basher. But hype aside I have not seen you tackle the issue of company finance or explain how they will make money in future, when, and how they will survive until then. Explain that one convicingly and some people might start beleiveing you. Until then I see only someone with a lot of shares protecting their own interests at the expense of other readers. Idle
