tommorrow -- ole ZaddyYou posted "Hubbie put in your buy orders, because you are going to get filled as fast as you put them in. The sell buttons will be ringing tomorrow. When you get lots of grey hair on your head like old Zaddy, in time you will learn. When you are hanging from that picket fence tomorrow think of the old man "ZADDY" "
Putting in a buy order tommorrow is asking for trouble. I'll wait a day or two, thank you very much. Tommorrow I'm painting the picket fence and refinishing my hardwood floors (why do the "better half" insist on major household repairs/renovations being completed just before the holidays, other than to keep us from informal xmas parties and forcing us to live up to a reputation of saving Christmas shopping to Dec 24th at London Drugs, WalMart and Home Depot!)
By the way, I hope your grey hairs came from age, and not chasing spec stocks on the CNDX. Then again, if they did come from age, what the heck are you chasing spec stocks for? Aren't you supposed to move your investments to things like dividend mutual funds, GIC's, savings accounts, etc?
To the few who inboxed myself regarding todays NR and my thoughts on it...This is a step out well from a discovery, and the chances of coming up empty handed were a lot less than the "near 100 %" stated. Geological interpretations based on seismic data are a tough call. CIVC does have a well that is more than capable of producing hydrocarbons at a decent rate. Time will tell what the sustained flow rate will/can be, but I'll say it here and now, it will most likely be less than any tested rate. Regardless of the sidetrack results, it is time for CIVC to sit back, re-look the data they have on hand, incorporate this dissapointment into their data, and decide whether or not to go forward with another well. My feeling is they should attempt at least one more well after reviewing all info, and I hope they get it right.
To all, enjoy your loved ones over this holiday season, and have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
