Reason for the SaleMy understanding from SYB IR is that SYB chose to sell their ONC shares now to be sure that their debtholders didn't petition the courts for repayment. SYB now has the cash to pay off its debt, sever its employees and wind up its clincial trial.
IR says that winding down its assets is still the objective and that distribution of the remaining ONC shares to SYB shareholders is being considered, i.e. what are the tax implications given that title to the shares would be transfered now, but the shares themselves remain in escrow.
IR also repeated that in SYB's view ONC's clincial results from the Phase I clearly show its efficacy and non-toxicity. Pizter's departure is just "one of those things".
Best regards.
