Very good news!!

Very good news!!On boosting the inflow of direct foreign investment: "That will depend on what will be achieved this year with respect to reducing political risk, especially in next few weeks. That will be the basis for deciding whether we will qualify as a country entering the international community through the front door. The issues that remain to be resolved are the future of the federation, Kosovo and regional stability. Apart from that, there are many more things to be done. First and foremost, we must prepare our country for real business by eliminating all impediments to foreign investments, from the visa regime to obtaining permits, bringing the judiciary system into order, administration, and legislative infrastructure. The Law on foreign investment has already been adopted, the Law on concessions is about to be adopted, the Law on the international trade arbitration is almost complete, a project on leasing is under construction, as are the Law on free zones and the Law on guarantees. The Law on companies and insolvency is being prepared, together with the Law on public telecommunications. A set of anti-corruption laws has been prepared. If we manage to finish all this by June and if privatisation proves to be successful, we will have an opportunity to attract a considerable amount of foreign capital."
