RE: idleJet,
While looking out of car front window speculating on what is changing and about to become. you quote an NR on COncorde that was released January 2001!
I have not looked into this NR for a few months now, what I did learn then, was that the link through SCS/GDS to the Smartfares booking engine never worked, (through no fault of SCS might I add). The smartfares database was so slow that the GDS session usually timed out. So unless something has changed recently, Concorde is distributing fare information over Solarnet, but there is no realitime $x / ticket sale. Solarnet deals alone make SCS very little at all, the order of a few thouand dollars a month per deal, and even if they have livelynx, we know that has not been a success with TA's
If you look at https://www.smartfares.com.au/ you will see they also have a very stylish web front end which incorporates an email style booking request (like livelynx effectively), which obviously completely bypasses SCS and generates no income for them.
If you are going to quote old NR's, at least explain why and how and to what extent you think they are going affect SCS's present and future prospects. We have already had the debate some months ago about your reasons / phobia of being quantative and simply wanting people to get excited about the future possibilities of NR's.
As for the comment about a 2 year old Telphone conversation, it was face to face and I have continued to talk listen and question several people at SCS since, which is why I don't beleive much of the hype on htis board, but I do think they are worth a speculative investment.
Question Jet. Do you know about problems like the one above and repost these OLD NR's anyway. Or do you really not have a good handle on where SCS are and are heading in terms of revenue streams.
Right now I find the latter very difficult to speculate on, at least as far as the realtime booking engine and revenues are concerned. Now it's out with clients, the dice have been rolled, just a case of waiting to see where they land. Whatever we say here now will make little or no differce, just a case of keeping your nerve and waiting to see if we get rich.
When someone starts pumping excessively, I begin to suspect they are losing there nerve and looking to sell? Is seeing $90,000 vanish off your portfolio value in the last two weeks making you nervous Jet?
