RE: Swings are getting smallerI have looked at Maxim before as an investment, but felt the growth potential would be long and slow. With Finning's involvement, I will definitely look again.
I'm not sure if it will make a big difference to Finning, and may even be a distraction. Maxim is an energy producer (although a novel and ecologically sensitive one) and that is not Finning's business. However, with the share price being so low, from an investment standpoint, I think it is an opportunity for gain.
I like the Diperk acquisistion as it builds on Finning's existing products and services.
As for the Q1 results, I would expect another stellar performance given the impact of the Hewitt acquisition. But anyone can guess and that is all I am doing.
