BillyAssI just call em like I see em.
IMO,
I think TELUS is doing the right thing by pursuing a growth strategy...it will be the only way to survive in this industry...and by the way, it is what the shareholders have asked for.
Another necessity for TELUS survival will be to clean house of non-value added processes (thats contracting out to the likes of you) and non-productive employees (get rid of the dead wood like has been done in management). I agree with you about dumping the rhetoric (I dont even listen to the union hot-line anymore...LOL) However, the company has changed and the union must also change...the clauses in the contract written in the 30's no longer apply.
ps. last time you commented here, you spewed some narrow minded opinion about how much TELUS owes you for your dedicated life at the trough... and then pouted off and said you would not return...not even to read the reply's...nice to see you back...Your comments reinforce my belief that TELUS must deal with an unproductive workforce
"As a manager you're just going to have to get used to a collective disagreement"....thanks for the insight.
ps. and as far as the namesake...IMO- no He would not run off and join a carpenters union...He would humbly do His best for his employer"
