Last Friday I surveyed a well site for a Canadian company,who is established in the industry,who are doing their first well in North America[previous experience was in the Middle East]...I just finished driving 950 km from another job to do a rush survey on a SECOND site 2 miles from the first one,because they have switched their drilling priority[local time as I write this is 1.30am]My point is,the industry is very "seat of the pants",it is not as predictable as other investment opportunities.Nothing I have seen from CQV is out of the ordinary,for a young junior company they are operating in line with many other companies I have observed to date.Conspiracy theorists relax,Jimmy Hoffa is not buried at POP #1,and this is not another Bre-ex.It might be a little longer than some of you anticipated,but the potential is there.Also,there is a great deal of interest in the East coast within the industry these days,at least once a month I get phone calls from "back home" for advice on matters pertaining to the oil industry,as companies are starting to look to the East as a viable area to develop.[Devon being one of the leaders in the area].The most important people to CQV in the next 6 days is the scumberger crew,they can make or break this well.Before hellome7 jumps all over me for my spelling,I would like to point out that is an industry nickname for Schlumberger.CQV has to have a lot of proven in the ground to make 2 bones again with amount of shares floating around,at least three more wells defining the pool.If you do not want to wait for that,sell when it bounces up again and go elsewhere to play.Remember one thing,never double down on an eight against a three if your playing with the rent money!!!Good luck all.
