Finning Announces Completion of Collective Agreement Negotiations in Alberta and The Northwest Territories

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Sep 5, 2002 (CCNMatthews via COMTEX) --
Finning International Inc. announced today that its Canadian operation has concluded negotiations on a new collective agreement between Finning (Canada) and International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers, Local Lodge 99. The three-year term agreement, which covers Finning operations in Alberta and the Northwest Territories, is effective May 1, 2002 and expires on April 30, 2005.
Doug Whitehead, President and Chief Executive Officer of Finning International Inc. noted: "We are very pleased to have concluded these negotiations. This gives us further confidence in our ability to provide uninterrupted services to our customers."
