RE: RUNNING OUT OF CASH....The "Consolidated" Financial Statements include ALL subsidiaries of Altachem Pharma, including the company’s share of Beijing JV’s assets, liabilities and cash flows.
As it is a subsidiary of Altachem Pharma why would they omit this information from the “Consolidated” Financial Statements?
General Electric has several subsidiaries in various industries including Aircraft, Financial Services, Consumer Products, etc. General Electric’s “Consolidated” Financial Statements include the assets, liabilities, and cash flows of ALL subsidiaries not just a select few. Note I am not comparing Altachem Pharma to General Electric but rather that all companies report "Consolidated" F/S based on all subsidiaries.
So once again for the quarter ended July 31, 2002 the “Consolidated” Cash and Cash Equivalents for Altachem Pharma were $13,516,909.
I’m not sure whom the comment on QLT was intended for. But if it was intended for me I would like to say that I don’t have a very strong opinion on QLT one way or the other. It may not be one of the greatest investment opportunities out there, but it is certainly a very good company. I don’t think many would argue with that.
I’ve posted more today than in the last couple of years. I will let others join the discussion. Just wanted to make sure the facts are understood.
