RE: Refractory Ore Recovery Rate
RE: Refractory Ore Recovery RateHeha
The 89% and 90% numbers I referred to are obviously the average mill recovery rate for the refractory ore containing gold. Obviously that is for people that are capable of reading.
The copper mining operations are reviewed begining on page 23.
JP10 hit the nail on the head with his explanation of your quote from the link you provided.:
https://www.mining-technology.com/projects/carlin/
"Although Newmont processes several ore types, the proportion of gold recovered from refractory ores rose from 30% in 1996 to 42% by 1998, a trend that is continuing."
In other words in 1996 30% of the gold recovered from their Nevada operations was from refractory ore and increased to 43% in 1998.
For a review of Newmonts Nevada GOLD operations I refer everyone to page 21 of the March 27 2002 report at
https://www.sedar.com/command_servlet?cmd=DisplayCompanyDocuments&issuerNo=00002195&lang=EN
Average Mill Recovery Rate......2001....2000....1999
:............................Oxide......79.5%....81%.....77.4%
:.......................Refractory......89.0%....90.2%...87.9%
Ofcourse, NRI may be able to produce at better rates with newer equipment and technologies.
I will continue to respond to your posts Heha for the benefit of the NRI forum readers.
I will continue to read your inaccurate and misleading posts as they amuse me. Did you read that correctly Heha?
You AMUSE me.
Respectfully,
Barruch
