ICIENA PROCEEDING WITH MATO GROSSO DIAMOND PROJECT IN BRAZIL
Further to news in Stockwatch dated July 3, 2002, Iciena has advanced funds in trust to Consolidated AGX Resources Corp. necessary to earn a 20-per-cent undivided interest in the Mato Grosso diamond project, subject to TSX Venture Exchange acceptance for filing.
The 63,000-hectare claim block is known to host at least 40 kimberlite pipes. Dr. Charles Fipke’s C.F. Mineral Research Ltd., operator of the claims, has been conducting large-scale exploration programs at Mato Grosso. Results from the C.F. Mineral Research laboratory are pending.
