RE: The union at telus has to go./wwjdBillyas
It really scares me that you are an actual employee of TELUS. I dont really have anything against unions unless they protect unnecessary jobs functions or unproductive people that are a drain on a company. You dont get much worse than the TWU on both these accounts...but I wont get into it.
Billyas, with your comments about the direction of the company I am sure you would have been calling for level production levels in the Horse Shoe and Buggy Whip Makers union soon after the automobile was invented as well. You are right, customers are not telling TELUS to go IP, they are telling us to increase band width and do it cheaper...way cheaper. Thank goodness that we have a CEO that understands that we need fundimental infrastructure cost reduction and new technology to meet these demands.
Sharholder trust,
Darren is absolutely accountable to the sharholder via the BoD and if/when they dont think he is doing a good job they will get rid of him, so give it up already on your bashing the CEO as a shareholder...Billyas you can vote at any sharholders meeting (assuming you own shares)...voice your discontent there. As an employee do your job (thats what management askes you to do) or quit.
