I bought at 50 cents
I bought at 50 centsso I will likely have to wait a bit before I see a change to recover my investment.
One thing is certain though, the fact that some companies like Motorola are going to manufacture a 'disposable cell phone'....and that means that you will not need to replace the batteries even after they fail to recharge, and as a result of environmental concerns and legislation, the use of the toxic NiCA batteries will like not be an option for cell phone companies. It is bad enough now that these mercury and cadmium batteries are ending up in landfills and the incinerators. In Japan and other areas the incineration of garbage is associated with huge health problems (dioxins, mercury, etc.)
I think this company will do very well...and it may be one of those stellar performers (we may see a market value of 100 million or more in the next year). If progressive European nations ban the use of mercury and cadmium batteries in garbage, or if they require recycling, then the only battery technology which can replace the toxic technology is BTI's....
I will be very happy to see $0.50 share....it has been over 2 years.
