Assay results.....Beaufield Consolidated Resources Inc BFD Shares issued 26,580,311 Nov 29 2002 close $ 0.18 Friday November 29 2002 News Release See Sparton Resources Inc (YSP) News Release Mr. A. Lee Barker reports SPARTON AND BEAUFIELD REPORT ON DRILLING ON ITS HEMLO AR ... Sparton Resources and Beaufield Consolidated Resources have received assay results on their first three jointly drilled diamond drill holes carried out within the Cedar Lake area claims. The assay results on these first three diamond drill holes have failed to return any significant gold values. The purpose of this drilling was to test geophysical and geochemical targets in the proximity of the Cedar Lake pluton. Earlier exploration within this area had reported anomalous gold values in pyritiferous sediments. This current drilling has failed to confirm earlier results. As announced in Stockwatch on Nov. 14, 2002, the companies had signed a purchase and sale agreement with Newmont Canada Ltd. comprising a total of 90 claims (143 units) on two separate groups located along the favourable gold trends in the Hemlo gold camp. Both Sparton and Beaufield are currently reviewing data on these properties and are jointly designing exploration programs to evaluate untested targets as part of their Hemlo area joint venture program announced in Stockwatch previously (Sept. 23, 2002).
