NRI price spikes
NRI price spikesWhen NRI ran up to $6.20 I noticed that Larry Roulston or Brian Lundin had recommended it, Roulston was where I first found mention in the summer of "01. Both have done so since. I would attribute a part of the spike to this esp. w/their stateside audiences. Shorting would be expected to come in here as momentum slows. Then the PDG announcement and reserve reports were not the excitement that people expected. Now Dines' call and Investor's Digest may be behind this latest rise. Offers good trading opportunities as well as a long term holding. For knowledgeable investors, taking some $ off the table on strength allows one to put it into smaller companies that haven't moved yet, swapping certainty for uncertainty and possibly more leverage. Sprucebruce's line of banter discouraged me from looking into IWA. Finally did and am impressed. Now that NRI has come to life again, where is the timberman now? It wasy impression that John Embry @ Royal Bank/Canada had done very well with NRI, don't see it in their portfolio now. Landsman.
