RE: CBJ.WTright guys. You just showed how new you are to this game.
The company is being mismanaged, pure and simple.
While you stated that the price of gold is going up you have misunderstood how the hedge works. Higher prices do not necessarily result in higher profits to CBJ.
As for the warrants, any fool will tell you that they want them exercised to get more money into the treasury. They are simply trading shares for money. In the process they dilute the value of the company.
If this was such a great managed company making lots of money, then why is it trading in the low $2s?
Simply because the investing public is skeptical of management and what they want to do. Why bring Rosebel on stream now? Concentrate on getting the rest of the company in shape, get rid of the lecherous banks, get rid of the hedge, right the ship and then consider doing other things.
Obviously I have been there before with this company and this management and am tired of waiting. The company's stock is doing this poorly in a phenomenal gold market. Imagine where it would be trading if the gold market was to head south of $300 again?
As for the 4th quarter numbers, all I can caution on is to take the emotion out of this game. You have invested money in this to make money. If you want entertainment value, then buy a video game. If they do not yield results then sell and move on, but dont watch quarter to quarter and press release to press release to see a 5 or 10 cent price swing.
All of this is IMHO and is subject to you doing your own due diligence. This could go back to its glory days and hit well north of $5. Only thing is that if it is not doing it now in this great gold market then pray tell what will make this move beyond the $2s?
