RE: Gold Stocks Shorts

RE: Gold Stocks ShortsI suppose if the fed wanted to help JP Morgan and cause the POG to fall they have the reserves to do it, however does the US want to risk there position as the worlds largest holder of gold? Just because some in the west see gold as a usless metal the rest of the world has a differant view, ask the Japanese investors who've been scooping up gold if they think it's a poor investment while their makerts tank, or gold holders in South America where inflation or weak currencies devalue their net worth. One can't forget about India and the booming growth in China where retail consumers of gold could soak up any excess of the yellow stuff, these are only my view of things (after several drinks), I still think with a weak US dollar gold has a big role in the future of currency valuations. It should be noted that following my opinions can be expensive.
